The Church is located on Saltergate in the town centre.

For more than 200 years Christians have met, worshipped and served their Lord Jesus Christ on this site. (Read more about the church's history)

Today Central Methodist continues to seek a wide variety of forms of worship, openings for service to the community and ways in which Christians can be supported as they seek to fulfil their calling.

Our Minister is the Revd Gordon Webb.

A monthly newsletter - Central Issue - is produced and copies of the current and previous editions can be viewed in the Resources section of this site, together with a Prayer of the Day, recordings of recent sermons and a photo gallery.
